We are stoked to announce the launch of Central Powder Tours for the 2024-2025 season with 10+ years combined experience working in and around the ski industry, We have come together to create this company and give people an experience that will last a life time!

Why Central Powder Tours and Why Central Hokkaido?

Central Powder tours is the story of two brothers coming together to share their love off all things snow and tourism and with 10 plus years experience in the snow and tourism industry we understand the needs of the customers and can help any person of any ability enjoy this experience!

Not only do we have the experience but its local experience and our guides can speak the language, meaning any communication at any place will be made hassle free for you.

With access to the best powder reserves in the world central Hokkaido has an average snowfall of 15 meters plus a season and we will offer some of the best riding you have ever experienced.

Based in Furano Japan just a 1.5 hour drive to Sapporo we offer some of the best powder lines money can buy. With so many resorts and mountains in the area we can promise no two days will be the same.

We also have a team working from the early hours every morning to asses weather conditions and forcasts to make sure we offer the best and safest conditions we can and head to the best powder stashes that day has to offer.

But its not just about the snow Furano is also surrounded by some of the best natural onsens and some amazing cultural activities not to mention the food! and on the fully guided tours we take you out and show you these and use our local knowledge to show you the true authentic Japanese experience.

During the tours we take a day off to rest and recover and this is a great opportunity to get out and experience some of the local culture, from natural onsens and ice fishiing to the renowned Sapporro Light festival. Central Hokkaido has so much to offer and we utilise all of these to make sure you have the best experience during or after the tour.
